"AMAZING service - topped with delicious food. The folks at Uli were warm, gracious and very helpful explaining the food options. A lot of their menu items can be veganised and some were by default vegan, including all the pastries. We had avocado toasts (silky smooth avocado) and a burger which was outstanding! The flat white coffee with oat milk and the hot chocolate with oat milk were very good. Relaxed vibe, indoor and outdoor casual seating and good atmosphere. Just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach here. It was very close to the Airbnb we were staying at, so great find for us."

The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was so pleasant—totally relaxed, with a great mix of young and older people. We truly enjoyed it! We also had a nice chat with the owner, and we’d love to come back. You could tell the food was homemade—it tasted absolutely wonderful! This place really made our morning ."

"this café was so lovely in every way: interior design, atmosphere, music, and of course, food! I had the chrysalis toast - the bread crust was perfectly crispy while the centre was soft; the scrambled egg was fluffy and well-salted; the caramelised onions were soo sweet and paired well with the mushrooms and kale! my friend had the avocado toast and it was delicious as well - amazing tomatoes (that was the only aspect I tried, sorry)! the barista Nico was also extremely kind, friendly, and patient, even giving me tips on coffee tasting :) I'd definitely come back again"

"Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! It has a vegetarian/vegan menu. I got my husband a veggie burger and he is a big meat eater. He didn't even know it wasn't meat. I waited until he finished to tell him. He was shocked to learn it was a veggie patty and said it was delicious. I had the eggs benedict and I almost told them to leave off the pickled onion, but it was the star of the show. The potatoes looked basic, but they were far from it. They were packed a lot of flavor and I loved the vegan sour cream that went with it. You would never be able to tell. The coffee and juice was also top notch. Freshly squeezed cold press juice with orange, turmeric and ginger. My cappuccino came with a dash of cinnamon, making it slightly unique. Most importantly, the service was amazing! Niko was so much fun. He truly made our breakfast special. We made sure to take a picture with him."

"What a hidden gem just off the Ave Garcia Fària running along the beach. When I approached the cafe I was not sure it was the correct spot, there were only two gentlemen sitting at a long table chatting. I’m so glad I went in, both were very friendly and said they were just waiting for customers I had a Cafe latte which was perfect, just the right blend of coffee and milk. Then came the Eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado. I cannot say enough good things about this dish. There were so many flavours here…the hollandaise was nice, not overpowering…the salmon was fresh and tender, the egg cooked perfectly on top, and the English muffin toasted perfect. After I finished a small pastry was presented to taste…a cinnamon roll with added flavours of almonds, dates…unexpected but absolutely delicious! I know it was a Friday in December but I have no idea how there was not a crowd of people at this spot. The quality of the food was amazing, and the owners very nice and pleasant to this solo Canadian traveller. If you are staying in this area of the city, do yourself a favour, walk off the main road and visit this spot for amazing brunch/lunch options."
